# Restore a Server

> A step-by-step guide about restoring your server.

> Head over to your server [Dashboard](https://restorecord.com/dashboard/servers) and click EDIT on the server you want to restore.

Edit the previous Guild ID to the new Guild ID and click **Save**.

> Now go on the [Backups](https://restorecord.com/dashboard/backups) page and click **Restore** on the backup you want to restore.

  You may be able to instantly restore your server.

<Warning>
  For normal restores, it can take up to 5 minutes to fully restore your server.
